What happens when you combine a generous dollop of Judao-Christian holiday revelry with a dash of Asian cultural fetishization...?

Dévoilé! Yuletide bonsai!!!

How's THAT for "The Perfect Christmas Tree," "Stephanie Benedict"...?

Hiya, Madame Glenda [insert celebratory castanet flourish here]! I miss "y'all"--to use the vernacular [wink, wink; nudge, nudge; cowtip, cowtip]--TOO! I must say, however, the Iowegian homecoming score is pretty much ENTIRELY dependent upon a few specific elements [Hint: I have thirteen of them in my wallet as we speak-type (Whoa! WHOA! Ladies, LADIES... [Lit'rally SHOVELING off prospective she-courters in droves] Back off... Easy, there! *Sigh* Ahhh, the ever-present allure of a little--and I DO mean "a LITTLE"--bling, eh, mein Auntie?)]... So, probably, not any time SOON. I'll let the whole VanderClan know via THE RACHEL! as soon as 'tis doable, though. Deal? Deal!

As far as being a dyed-in-the-wool ANYTHING: Sadly, no... I'm actually thinking my next move will probably be either to Oregon or Washington state. California's alright, but I'm not so much into PLACES as I am the "a'doin's"--another shout-out to the Iowegian idiom there--incumbent OF said places. And here... *Sigh* I can't really accomplish much of anything where I'm presently situated... EXCEPT being gainfully-unemployed and catching a second-hand high just by ENTERING the local grocer. (Speaking of which: if you have the chance, you should REALLY take a toke of aisle two at Arcata's Wildberries Market. The canned vegetables section is... *shiver* ...QUITE the psychedelic experience...)

How're yee these days? We should do a Rorschach whence next we hang out, yeah? For old time's sake, eh? Regardless! Tell me about Glenda...

[Leaning forward attentively]
